Ben Clark is an architect and PhD candidate at the School of Architecture La Cambre Horta, Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), under an FNRS-FRESH grant (Fonds pour la recherche scientifique en sciences humaines, Belgium). He holds a master’s degree in architecture (ULB, 2017) and a master’s degree in sociology-anthropology (ULB, 2021). His doctoral research (under the supervision of Prof. Axel Fisher) deals with the history of self-construction and “Third world architecture” in Morocco, based on the reconstruction and analysis of the CERF’s archives: the Centre d’expérimentation, de recherche et de formation, a study center active in Morocco between 1967 and 1973.

Ben Clark is also the co-founder of RHAM, the Réseau de recherche sur l'histoire de l'architecture au Maroc aux XX-XXIe siècles. https://rham.hypotheses.org/
